Health Information Centers
"Improving the quality of patient care & health outcomes through research & education."

The six Health Information Centers are a collaborative project of the Kelsey Research Foundation and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Both the Foundation and Clinic share a strong commitment to health promotion, and it is our vision to become the premier source of health information for people seeking medical care in the Houston area. The Centers are comfortable, quiet places where patients can find up-to-date information on the prevention, early detection, and treatment of illness, as well as drug information. Resources include printed educational materials on a variety of health topics, reference books, health videos, internet resources and health-related websites, and access to on-line medical journals. Three Centers are located at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Main Campus, 2727 W. Holcombe (713.442.0305), Kelsey-Seybold Clinic West Campus, 1111 Augusta Drive (713.442.2510) and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Fort Bend Medical and Diagnostic Center, 11555 University Boulevard (713.442.9260). The Foundation also offers three community-based Centers located at Harbach-Ripley Youth Center, 6225 Northdale (713.442.0305), Ripley House, 4410 Navigation (713.442.0305) and Independence Heights, 205 W. Crosstimbers (713.742.5554). The Centers are open to all, including patients and their family members, health care providers, and the general public. On-site use of all materials is free, and the Centers are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
