Kelsey Research Foundation

Clinical Trials

"Improving the quality of patient care & health outcomes through research & education."

The Foundation coordinates and provides oversight for all clinical trials performed by physicians at KSC. Our clinical trials program has developed an excellent reputation for patient safety and high-quality data. These trials enable physicians to offer innovative therapy to eligible patients. A central Institutional Review Board approves all clinical trials. Study Coordinators at KRF assist KSC physicians by identifying eligible patients, strictly enforcing the protocol, obtaining informed consent from patients, dispensing study drugs and supplies, accompanying patients to medical visits, taking vital signs and medical histories, following patients for adverse events, completing all regulatory documents, preparing data for study monitors, and ensuring that Good Clinical Practices are followed. Please call 713.442.1214 for more information.

Research investigators at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic review and follow Good Clinical Practices. To obtain a copy of these regulations, contact Jennifer Marvel at x21212.
